Happy Dia de Los Muertos! I love this holiday & always feel so full of love and gratitude on this day! To take time and remember all the sweet moments with my grandmothers, the treasure of a dollhouse that was handmade by my grandfather! But it goes even deeper than that. I'm grateful for the land that was honored by my many-greats on my mothers side, for the land that was purchased by a for-hire-pirate for my father's greats during the revolution. I'm grateful for my husband's great-grandfather who choose to immigrate to the US from Southern Italy, allowing us, 120 years later, to be in proximity to fall in love! And then have our babies, who will be able to do who knows what in their lives, to carry on the tradition of loving and living. This day makes me so humble and compassionate about every choice that every single person has had to make to bring all of us to this exact moment.
